Not sure if motorcycling is for you? Browse the links below then come and experience it all at an introductory lesson, no learners permit is required for this lesson. If motorcycling is for you, you're ready for the next step:

  1. Obtain your learners permit at the Department for Planning and Infrastructure. Study the Drive safe book it will tell you what you need to know and make lessons more enjoyable with less time required discussing road rules and more riding time. The permit is required before any road going lesson.

  2. Book your test now... there are long waiting lists sometimes, conservatively you should book for about 2 months time, so as to be well prepared.

  3. Wanting to gain confidence and avoid dangerous fumbling and  learn as quickly and safely as possible? Read a simple guide book such as the Road Traffic Authority Motorcycle Riders Handbook(pdf), this can also be obtained in a tidy booklet form direct from me. Please note that this book is from NSW so some information will not apply to you, However I have yet to find a better guidebook than this anywhere in the world.
  4. An essential leaflet on riding skills, road-craft and passing your practical riding assessment that I am developing
